I love ballerina's, and there is something inherently natural and beautiful about this trend. 

Loving the peachy/nude tones, sheer fabrics, ballerina buns, and fresh-faced make-up.  

Can't wait to wear it, and feel as pretty as a picture! (and hopefully look as graceful as a ballerina...)

Freja Beha Erichsen is such a rockstar. 

She has been a favourite model of mine for years now, and lately I just can't help but think in another life she must have been an uber cool rockstar. She's just s o  d a m n  c o o l.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr.....

The last few weeks in Sydney have been really cold! It's not quite winter (16 days of Autumn left....), but things have definitely been feeling frosty. Although, every now and then I have to stop and remind myself that 12 degrees is definitely not considered overwhelmingly cold in most parts of the world. I think the main problem with any kind of cold weather in Sydney (aka days less than 20 degrees) is that we're not prepared for it! Sydney-siders like to pretend it's warm all year round, hence the prevalence of bare legs, arms, and goosebumps. I for one am not a fan of this look, so I think it's time to embrace the cold and start dressing appropriately for winter weather!

Bright like neon love.

Today I spent a few hours putting together this bright, beautiful inspiration board based on some of my favourite looks from the spring/summer 2011 collections.

I love so many of these looks… Jil Sander’s perfectly polished colour blocking, Prada’s faultless + bold power pieces, Gucci’s sexy silky brights, Christopher Kane’s unforgettable neon bright digital prints, Costume National’s sleek suiting and Dior’s fun and flirty take on the trend. Oh, and so many more!!!

It's nice to see that models get hungry and thirsty too!!! I only wish I looked as glam as Kate manages to look drinking milk straight from the fridge. Apart from lipstick, I don’t really wear very much red…. but I think I might need to start! It’s such a sexy, empowering colour. I have always loved red shoes (there’s something very alluring about them!), and now I’m starting to think I need to add a few more red pieces to my already bursting wardrobe. Maybe a red duffle coat, or some red leather pants. And one day, maybe I’ll be bold enough to rock a gown worthy of the Lanvin s/s 2011 masterpiece (as seen here on Daria Werbowy in US vogue). Ahhhh-mazing!

Eyes that POP, combined with gorgeous lip colours ranging from orange to pink, look amazing with the super cute short fringes!

Pink has always been one of my favourite colours! 

It’s such a happy, girly, feminine colour. Just looking at a pink roses or a cherry blossom tree never fails to bring a smile to my face. 

I don’t actually wear pink very much, but I wish I were brave enough to dye my hair fairy-floss pink!
